Auto Energy Batteries (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is developed and maintained by Auto Energy Batteries (hereinafter referred to as "we"). We attach great importance to the protection of your personal information and privacy rights.

This Privacy Policy describes our rules for collecting, using, storing, sharing and protecting your personal information, and informs you of your rights regarding your information. We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy shall take effect once published within the App, replacing the previous version. We will not send separate notifications. If you do not accept the revised Privacy Policy, please stop using all services of the App immediately. Your continued use of the services constitutes your acceptance of all updated terms.

1. Personal Information We Collect and Use

To implement core functions of the App, including Bluetooth connection to battery management systems and energy storage device management, we will collect corresponding information after obtaining your authorization. We only use information for necessary service purposes and will not use it beyond the authorized scope.

Function: Account Registration, Login and Security Verification
Type of information collected: Mobile phone number or email address.
Purpose of collection: Send login verification codes, protect account security; facilitate customer service contact when you require after-sales support.
Data storage: Account information is encrypted and stored on the server database. Without your explicit permission, we will not share this information with any third party.
Function: Device Management Service (Bluetooth connection to batteries, energy storage accessories and home energy storage devices)
Type of information collected: Device Bluetooth information, WLAN identifier information, system location permission (used only for Bluetooth scanning).
Purpose of collection: Search for nearby battery devices, establish Bluetooth communication links, realize device monitoring and parameter reading & writing functions.
Function: Reading and configuration of device operating data
Type of information collected: Operating parameters of your connected battery device, device serial number and other device information.
Purpose of collection: Display battery voltage, current, temperature and other operating status within the App, and allow users to configure parameters of the battery protection board.

2. System Permissions Required by the App

To realize core functions including device adding, Bluetooth communication, QR code configuration, QR code recognition from album images and after-sales communication, the App may request the following mobile system permissions: Bluetooth, Nearby devices, Location information, Camera, Photos/Album access. All permissions are requested via pop-up prompts on demand. You have the right to refuse non-essential permissions, but refusal may cause corresponding functions unavailable.

3. Sharing, Transfer and Public Disclosure of Personal Information

Except for the following circumstances, we will not share or transfer your personal information to any third party:

You have given explicit and separate consent;
Required by laws, judicial authorities or competent government departments;
Necessary to protect the legitimate major rights and interests of users, the public or us, and it is difficult to obtain your consent in advance.

If we need to add new third-party data sharing partners or share your sensitive personal information in the future, we will obtain your authorization and consent in advance.

4. Your Rights to Personal Information

Access and Correction: You can view your bound mobile phone number and email address on the App account page and modify your account information by yourself.
Account Deletion: You can go to App [Settings - Delete Account] and follow the instructions to complete account deletion. After account deletion, we will erase your account-related data stored on our server in accordance with our rules.
Withdraw Authorization: You may disable Bluetooth, location, camera, album access and other permissions at any time in your phone system settings; corresponding functions will stop working after disabling permissions.

5. Detailed List of Permissions and Information Collection

We collect the following information only after obtaining your authorization. All information is used solely to implement corresponding functions and will not be used for other purposes:

Location Information	Purpose: Required by Android system for Bluetooth scanning of nearby peripherals, used to search and connect your battery / energy storage devices; Method: Pop-up request when you actively add or connect devices; Scope: Used only for Bluetooth device scanning. We will NOT collect, upload or store your location track data.
Bluetooth / Nearby Devices	Purpose: Search and connect battery management system devices, two-way communication, read and set battery parameters; Method: Requested when you actively add devices; Scope: Communicate only with the battery device you select to connect.
Camera	Purpose: Scan device QR codes to quickly add and bind battery devices; Method: Requested when you actively tap the scan button; Scope: Camera is only activated momentarily during QR scanning. No background recording, photo capture or image upload.
Photos / Album Access	Purpose: Read images in mobile album, identify QR codes within images, support binding devices by selecting QR code pictures from album; Method: Pop-up request when you choose to read QR code from album; Scope: Only read the selected QR code image. We will not traverse, upload or save other photos in your album.

6. Data Storage and Security Protection

Your account data is stored on encrypted servers. Device Bluetooth operating data is saved locally on your phone by default; device operating data will only be uploaded to the cloud when you actively enable cloud synchronization.

We use industry-standard encryption technologies to protect your data against leakage, loss, tampering and unauthorized access. Please note that no data transmission over the Internet can guarantee absolute 100% security.

Data retention period: Account information will be retained while your account remains active. After account deletion, we will delete your personal account data within a reasonable period.

7. Minors Protection

This App is intended for adult users of battery equipment. We will not actively collect personal information of users under 18 years old. If you are a guardian and find that a minor has submitted personal information to us without your permission, please contact us and we will delete relevant data promptly.

8. Updates to Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy according to business changes and updates of applicable laws and regulations. Updated versions will be published inside the App and on this webpage. We will notify you of material changes via pop-up prompts in the App.
